Managing Your Menu Management in cirQQle Manager

Menu Management is where you build your menu, set your hours, run deals and control how guests order. Changes you make here appear in the cirQQles app, your online menu, the ordering tablet and the kitchen display. This article walks you through each part: Menus, Deals, Hours, Import CSV, Online Menu and Settings.

Important: You are responsible for your menu. Before you go live, check every item, price and modifier (which choices are free and which are charged), and confirm that your menu is correct. cirQQles is not responsible for errors in menu details or prices.

Step 1 : cirQQles Command Center

Sign in to the cirQQles Command Center, where you manage your marketing, engagement and sales in one place. If you manage more than one cirQQle, you first see Select cirQQle to Manage.

1.      Search for your restaurant, or scroll the list to find if you manage more than one
         restaurant.

2.      Select your restaurant.

3.      Select Continue to Command Center.

Select cirQQle to Manage in the cirQQles Command Center

Step 2: cirQQle Manager

In the Command Center, select the cirQQle Manager tab. Your restaurant name appears under the title, and the menu on the left lists everything you can manage:

Open cirQQle Manager → Menu Management.

 Step 3: Select menu management

Menu Management is where you build your menu, set your hours, run deals and control how guests order. Open cirQQle Manager → Menu Management. The tabs across the top are Menus, Deals, Hours, Import CSV, Online Menu and Settings.

You are responsible for your menu. Before you go live, check every item, price and modifier, then confirm that your menu is correct. cirQQles is not responsible for errors in menu details or prices.

Menus

The Menus tab lists your menus (for example, Main Menu) and whether each is Active.

The Menus tab

•        Select New Menu to add one.

•        Use the pencil to edit, the trash can to delete, or the arrow to open a menu and see its categories and items.

•        Use Search items to find an item quickly.

Menu Scrape: if your menu exists on another website, a Menu Scrape button can import it. It is available only until your first real order. After that it disappears, and you edit items or use Import CSV instead. DoorDash, Uber Eats and Postmates pages cannot be scraped.

Deals
Create special offers on the Deals tab. Select New Deal, then choose a name, photo, and type: percent off, dollar amount off, buy one get one, or combo price. A deal can apply to one item, a category, or the whole order. You can also set a minimum order, the days and times it is valid, and whether it is active.

Each deal shows its type, status and schedule. Use View Promotion to see how members see it.

The Deals tab

Deals notify members immediately. Saving an active deal sends a push notification to cirQQle members right away. There is no quiet-hours setting, so create deals during business hours.

Hours
Set when your restaurant is open for each service type. Hours control when guests can order. They use your community timezone, which you can change under Profile → Community Timezone.

1.     For each day, set the opening and closing time.

2.     Select Add slot for a second block, such as a lunch and a dinner service.

3.     Turn on Closed for any day you are not open.

4.     Select Save.

Operating hours are your general open hours. Pickup and delivery hours can be set separately if they differ.

The Hours tab

Import CSV
Use a spreadsheet to create or update many items at once.

1.     Select Download Template for a blank file with sample rows, or Export Current Menu to download your live menu.

2.     Edit the file in a spreadsheet program.

3.     Select Choose File, pick your CSV and import it.

The Create only (skip duplicates) switch decides what happens to items that already exist. When it is off, items are matched by name and updated, which is what you want after editing prices in an exported file. When it is on, existing items are skipped and only new items are added.

The Import CSV tab

Online Menu
Your online menu lets guests browse and order without the app.

•        Online Menu URL: share this link with customers. Use Preview to check it and Copy online menu URL to copy it.

•       Embed Code: paste this snippet into your website to show the menu on your own page. Use Copy embed code.

The Online Menu tab

Settings
The Settings tab has six sections: General, Fees & Pricing, Notifications, Auto Status, Drop Off Points and Reservations. Select Save Settings after you make changes.

General
Turn Pickup, Delivery and Order Ahead on or off. You can also turn on Earn points on purchases, which awards 1 loyalty point per dollar spent (rounded to the nearest dollar) when a food order is marked completed.

Settings, General

Fees & Pricing

•        Tax Rate: your local tax rate(8.25), applied to the subtotal at checkout.

•        Uber Direct: when on, delivery uses Uber's real-time pricing instead of a flat fee. Make sure the Pickup Address and Pickup Phone are correct, or Uber cannot accept the order.

•        Tips Enabled: lets customers add a tip at checkout.

•        Delivery & Pickup: set up minimum 20$ order for delivery and the estimated delivery and pickup times shown to customers.

•        Fee Preview: enter a sample subtotal to see exactly what guests will pay.

Platform Fees (Convenience Fee and Service Fee) are set by cirQQles only. Leave them at 0.00 unless support asks you to change them, because any amount is added to every order.

Notifications
Enter the Notification Email and Notification Phone where you want an alert for every new order. An email or text is sent to these for each order. Use your own email and mobile number so you never miss an order.

Settings, Notifications

Auto Status
Auto Status moves each order through its stages on a timer: Confirmed, Preparing, Ready for Pickup or Out for Delivery, and Completed. Each timer counts the minutes after the previous status. Set a stage to 0 to skip it.

Settings, Auto Status

Use with caution. If you turn this on, you accept full responsibility for any customer confusion caused by inaccurate or early status updates. Every status change sends a push notification to the customer, so set timers that match your real preparation and delivery times. If you turn it off, your staff must update each order manually.

Drop Off Points
Drop-off points let you deliver batched orders to a shared location, such as an office building, at a lower fee.

1.     Select Add Location and enter the name, address and delivery fee.

2.     Select Add Time Slot and set the drop-off time and a cut-off (for example, 30 minutes before).

3.     Use the switch to turn a location on or off.

Guests can choose the drop-off point only if they order before the cut-off.

Settings, Drop Off Points

Reservations
When your reservation calendar is set up, your restaurant accepts reservations.

•        Manage Calendar opens availability and booking settings (also on the Calendars page under Booking Calendars).

•        View Booking Page shows what guests see.

•        Occasion Options are optional presets guests can pick when booking, such as Birthday or Anniversary. Add or remove them, then select Save Occasion Options.
