Setting Up cirQulate
Setting up cirQulate correctly is the first and most important step before sending any SMS or email campaigns. cirQulate includes a guided setup checklist that ensures your account is compliant, organized, and ready for successful communication. This article walks you through each setup requirement, including Categories, Email Footers, Campaign Types, and Templates.
Once these steps are completed, you’ll have full access to campaign creation and sending features.
Accessing cirQulate Setup
To begin:
- Log in to your cirQQle Hub at cirqqles.hub

Use the top navigation menu

Click on cirQulate
The first time you open cirQulate, a setup checklist popup will appear automatically. All items in this checklist must be completed before you can create or send campaigns.

Step 1: Create Categories
Categories are used to organize your contacts and target specific audiences. They function like tags and allow you to control who receives certain types of campaigns.

Open Categories from the left menu

2. Click Add Category

3. Enter a category name (e.g., Promotions, Members, Events) with your choosen color code.

4. Save the category
You can assign multiple categories to a single contact, making it easy to send highly targeted campaigns.

Step 2: Create an Email Footer
An Email Footer is a default section automatically added to all email campaigns. It typically contains branding and compliance information.
What to Include in an Email Footer

Business name
-
Contact details
-
Address (if applicable)
-
Required unsubscribe or compliance language
How to Create a Footer

Go to Footers in the left menu

2. Click Create Footer

3. Add your footer content (i.e. Business name, Contact details, Address, Website)

4. Save the footer

Once created, this footer will be selectable in your email campaigns and templates.
Step 3: Create Your First Template
Templates are the foundation of all campaigns. cirQulate supports both Email and SMS templates using drag-and-drop builders.

How to Create a Template

Open Templates from left menu under Content type. In this section, you will find two parts (Email Template and SMS Template).

2. Click New Email Template

3. Choose a Starting Point window will appear.
You can choose from several options, including:

Start from Scratch – Create a completely custom template.
-
Newsletter Templates – Ideal for regular updates and news.
-
Onboarding Templates – Useful for welcome emails and new user introductions.
-
Promotional Templates – Designed for marketing and sales campaigns.
-
Announcement Templates – Best for company or product announcements.
-
Basic Templates – Simple layouts for general communication.
-
Select a template or choose Start from Scratch.

Understanding the Email Template Builder
The template builder contains several important sections that help you design and customize your email.
1. Layout Sections
On the right side of the editor, you can choose different layout structures to organize your content.
Available layout options include:

1 Section – A full-width content block
-
1/2 Section – Two-column layout
-
1/3 Section – Three-column layout
-
3/7 Section – Mixed column layout for flexible designs
These layouts allow you to create structured and visually appealing email designs.

2. Content Elements
Once a layout section is added, you can insert content elements such as:

Text Blocks – Add headings, paragraphs, and descriptions
-
Images – Include logos, banners, or product images
-
Buttons – Create clear call-to-action buttons
-
Dividers – Separate different sections of your email
-
Videos – Embed video previews when needed
-
Spacers – Adjust spacing between elements
You can simply drag these elements into your email layout and customize them.

3. Editing Content
To edit content within the template:

Double-click text to modify the wording
-
Select any element to access editing controls
-
Rearrange elements using the move icons
This makes it easy to adjust your email design without technical knowledge.
4. Style and Formatting Options
When selecting an element, the Style Properties panel will appear. This panel allows you to customize the appearance of your content.
Available style options include:

Font Family (e.g., Arial)

Font Size

Line Height
-
Font Weight
-
Text Alignment
-
Spacing
-
Color settings
These controls allow you to match your email design with your brand style.
5. Template Settings
At the top of the editor, you will find additional configuration options.
Here you can set:

Template Name

Email Subject Line
-
Variables (for personalization)
-
Preview Mode to see how the email will appear

Save Template to store your design
You can also switch between desktop and mobile views to ensure your email looks good on all devices.
Saving Your Template
Once your design is complete:

Review the template using Preview.
-
Confirm the Template Name and Subject Line.

Click Save Template.
Your template will now be available when creating email campaigns in cirQulate.

Step 4: Configure Campaign Types
The Campaign Management section in cirQulate allows you to create and manage different types of marketing campaigns. From this dashboard, you can send email campaigns, SMS campaigns, or automatically generate email content using AI.
You can access these options from the Campaign Management page, where the available campaign types are displayed at the top of the screen.

Campaign Performance Overview
The Campaign Management dashboard also provides a summary of campaign performance metrics, including:

Total Campaigns – Total number of campaigns created

Sent – Number of campaigns successfully sent
-
Scheduled – Campaigns scheduled to send later
-
Recurring – Campaigns configured to repeat automatically
-
Total Sent – Total messages delivered across all campaigns
These metrics help you quickly evaluate campaign activity and performance.

Available Campaign Types
cirQulate supports three main campaign creation options.
1. Auto-Build Email Campaign
The Auto-Build Email feature uses AI to generate an email campaign automatically based on your campaign description. This option simplifies campaign creation by guiding you through a structured setup process.

Steps to Create an Auto-Build Email Campaign

Navigate to Campaign Management.

Click Auto-Build Email.
-
Follow the guided campaign creation steps.
The setup process includes five stages:
Step 1: Choose a Template
Select a starting template for your email campaign.
Options may include:
-
Blank Template – Allows the AI to generate the layout from scratch.
-
Pre-designed Newsletter Templates – Provide structured layouts for newsletters or announcements.
The selected template will be used as the layout foundation for the AI-generated email.
Click Next to continue.
Step 2: Define the Campaign Purpose
Provide details about the campaign to help the AI generate appropriate email content.
You will need to enter:

Campaign Name – The internal name used to identify the campaign.
-
Email Purpose – A description of what the email should communicate.
For best results, include details such as:
-
Products or services being promoted
-
Special offers or promotions
-
Events or announcements
-
Important dates or deadlines

You can also select the tone of the email to match your communication style.
Click Next to proceed.
Step 3: Select Recipients
Choose the audience that will receive the email campaign. Recipients can be selected based on your available customer lists or segments.
Step 4: Generate the Email
Once the campaign details and recipients are defined, the system will generate the email content automatically using the selected template and campaign description.
Step 5: Review and Send
Before sending the campaign, you can review the generated email to ensure everything looks correct.
During this step, you can:

Review the campaign content

Make final adjustments

Confirm recipient lists

Send the campaign

After completing all four steps:

At least one Template
The setup checklist will disappear, and full campaign functionality will be unlocked.
You are now ready to:
